Made from leather from old sofa

I decided to hang the plastic sample very close to the projector and i got some interesting images from that.

Although i am disappointed that my samples were too small to get anything from the projection workshop i can still use photo shop to give pattern/texture and colour to my work digitally.

Yesturday we projeced images onto our samples, mixing work within the group.

Here, my image is being projecte onto a manniquin with stephs work on

After trying for an age to get my pieces to hang still they were just too small and too tectured to take any of the images projeced onto them.

Well I'm now in my 3rd term in my first year of uni, I've turned twenty, been in a relationship for over a year, worked in a bar for 3 months then quit ( the bar will remain nameless but a place where they put a 10-15 hour contracted part time student on the rota for 30 hours a week need to sort themselves out, rumour has it the place is a shambles since i left, serves them right), I've re pierced my ears (regretting it now as my ears hurt and i cant sleep on either side), got a house for next year in notts(which is decidedly on the rundown side, but its city centre on £60 a week, cant complain, better than my £114 a week rent at my flat now!) Project wise I've been doing chains then chains in nature and now I'm just drawing things i find interesting, after working at the bar i pretty much had no time to do any work, had a review and got a d which is good considering how much i was working. i quit about a month ago and since then have been sorting my work out, I've organised and done sketchbook work, and have more stuff i can get on with which is always good! we have to decide our pathways in 2 weeks and i have no idea but i will figure that out the night before the hand in! Smoking wise, I'm back on roll ups after smoking packets while working at the bar, literally only breaks i got were because i 'needed' a cigarette. long story short my addiction is at an all time high. My drinking habits went way up working at the bar, resulting various times in vomit. not helped by the fact i dropped a stone in weight whist working there and then an increase in alcohol intake was never going to turn out well. thankfully Christmas got me back into healthy weight, although i now cannot stop eating biscuits. I had a car crash on the way to move into my flat in notts (slipped my mind hilariously) not my fault, they crashed into us at a roundabout. point is, got compensation for whiplash and bought myself a canon 1000d, as I've always been intrigued by photography but never had the finances, anyway I've set up a flickr for myself which i will link up, not many pictures as I'm far too personal with my work, however viewing on the Internet means I'm not there and don't have to see reactions. I'm going to try and keep up with this now, and my flickr, lets see how this goes...
